Overview

There are three research groups in the ME department: renewable energy and green technology, advanced materials and applied mechanics, precision electromechanical and biomedical systems. The aim of the department is to provide well-trained and high talent mechanical engineers to meet the man power required by the industry. Main research areas are green energy, gerontechnology, micro electronmechanical system (MEMS), automation and industry 4.0, smart manufacturing. In addition, two research centers focused on fuel cell and gerontechnology, respectively, are led by the professors of ME department. Academic research incorporation with industrial practicing make the teaching more diversified and useful to the industrial needs.
