Overview
Chemicals and materials are key industries in the design, development and manufacture of cutting-edge and livelihood materials and products.
The research interests of the teachers include: semiconductor, photoelectric, biotechnology, separation technology, green technology and energy, catalysts, polymers, composite materials, pollution control, and other technology industries.
There are abundant research resources, plenty of funding for research projects, copious experience in industry-university cooperative research projects, and won numerous internal and external academic and teaching awards in affirmation. The research outcomes are ranked in the top place among the universities of Taiwan and the world universities by the field of chemical engineering and materials science.
Through the accreditation certificate of the Institute of Engineering Education Taiwan (IEET), this department became a cradle for cultivating talented people in engineering and technology at an international standard.
