Overview

The undergraduate program of the Dept. of Social and Policy Sciences is a multi- multi-disciplinary program integrating sociology, social statistics, social work, public administration, and cultural creativity, etc. Its professional internship trainings lead students to accumulate experiences in real working environments, to improve their abilities of planning and implementing activities, and to strengthen their life learning and interpersonal skills. The program also develops students’ analytical abilities through research methods courses. Finally, the department promotes students’ career development through extracurricular activities and workshops. As a consequence, the department provides qualified individuals to meet the needs of the society, and trains exports, such as social data analysts, government administrators, project managers, and social welfare practitioners, etc.
