Overview
The teachers of IM department are divided into five areas: Information Technology, Measurement Decision, Information Management, Business Management and Social Innovation, focusing on cultivating students’ solid programming ability, supplemented by system analysis and business management concepts.
The research and development priorities of IM department are “Big Data Analysis” and “Artificial Intelligence Application” as the main axis, and “Business Intelligence”, “Biomedical Information”, “Social Media Analysis” and “Smart Manufacturing” as characteristic application fields. The department cooperates with the “Big Data and Digital Convergence Innovation Center” to jointly develop various innovative applications.
The master’s programs of IM department are divided into two: “Big Data Analysis” and “Information Management and Innovation”
1. The program of “Big Data Analysis” aims to cultivate the technical and application capabilities of big data capture, analysis and visual presentation.
2. The program of “Information Management and Innovation” aims to cultivate professional knowledge and abilities related to information system management, enterprise management and innovation.
Comprehensively apply the skills learned in the above two courses in the development of Artificial Intelligence (AI) applications: Financial Technology (FinTech), Open Data, Business Intelligence, Smart Healthcare, Smart Manufacturing, Social Media, Information Security and other fields.
