1. Yuan Ze University is collaborating with Far Eastern Memorial Hospital to establish a “School of Medicine and Nursing.” Yuan Ze University leads the development of the School of Medicine and Nursing, while Far Eastern Memorial Hospital serves as the main teaching hospital, offering clinical training and practical experience to students. The nursing department’s mission focuses on training nursing professionals who meet the needs of both national healthcare systems and patient care, trusted by patients and their families.

2. Our curriculum features a bilingual program combining programming and English, alongside international exchange opportunities. This equips students with both technical and linguistic skills, enhancing their ability to engage in smart nursing, develop leadership qualities, and provide human-centered, compassionate nursing care.

3. The department emphasizes interdisciplinary learning, blending science, humanities, and innovation. Graduates will possess ten core competencies: biomedical foundations, clinical nursing skills, ethics, critical thinking, teamwork, compassion, responsibility, lifelong learning, creativity, and smart nursing, positioning them for success in the evolving smart healthcare landscape.
